Charles has considerable experience of advising in relation to the retirement benefits aspects and general employment aspects of both UK and multinational mergers and acquisitions.

He also advises a significant number of ongoing pension fund clients on a day-to-day basis - where the client may be the employer, the trustee or both - ranging from large manufacturing companies to investment banks and conglomerates.

Charles is a member of the Legislative & Parliamentary Sub-Committee of the Association of Pension Lawyers, a body which meets monthly to consider and comment on draft pensions legislation.
