Financing

Our Paris office acts for lenders and for borrowers in the domestic and international markets on financing transactions under English and French law from single-lender and syndicated credit agreements to structured financing arrangements including securitisations; derivatives; debt issues; sovereign and corporate debt reschedulings and acquisitions; and asset and project financings.

We work as an integrated team with our London office and the best independent law firms around the world on a broad range of financing transactions that involve French borrowers/guarantors and relevant French corporate law and security issues.

We have a strong focus on acquisition financing, often working closely with Bredin Prat on the structuring and implementation of financings for acquisitions and disposals in France and internationally. We act for banks and for sponsors and borrowers.

Corporate Recovery and Insolvency also forms a significant part of our practice. We advise the parties who may be involved when a company is in financial difficulties including the company itself, company directors, banks, other creditors and insolvency practitioners. We advise on restructurings, administrations, refinancings and receiverships.
