Standard Life on its flotation on the London Stock Exchange which raised £1.1 billion of net new capital as part of offers which raised approximately £2.2 billion.

Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank on the initial public offering and Hong Kong listing of Alibaba.com Limited which raised approximately HK$11.6 billion (US$1.5 billion). This was the largest technology company initial public offering in 2007. 

Cadbury Schweppes on the creation and listing in London of Cadbury plc as a stand-alone confectionary company (and the connected listing of Cadbury ADRS on the New York Stock Exchange). 

Cairn India on its flotation on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India which raised approximately US$1.93 billion (excluding the over-allotment option).

Provident Financial on the demerger of its international home credit business to a separately listed entity, International Personal Finance plc, with a value of £646 million (EUR 952 million).
