  • Islington Law Centre and Battersea Law Centre - helping to staff evening clinics advising on small claims
  • LawWorks for Community Groups - advising local community groups on commercial real estate matters
  • Free Representation Unit - serving as advocates on employment or social security tribunals
  • Royal Courts of Justice Advice Bureau - providing a weekly rota of qualified litigators to litigants-in-person, as shown in our case study

Our volunteering programmes go beyond pro bono. We encourage all employees to get involved in our projects and underpin these efforts with financial support. Examples of our non-legal volunteering opportunities include:

  • Primary Partners - various initiatives with our local schools, as shown in our case study
  • Hackney Schools’ Mentoring Programme - attending fortnightly mentoring sessions with Year 10 students to improve their self-confidence, academic performance and aspirations
  • Citizenship Foundation Twinning - running workshops with a local class of Year 10 students to help the pupils understand the citizenship curriculum and learn about life as a City lawyer
