Funds for Fundraisers event

The Funds for Fundraisers scheme was introduced in 2005 to support individual staff fundraising efforts. The scheme is very simple: staff members who have raised at least £500 for a UK-registered charity are entitled to apply for an additional £500 from the firm. Our employees have supported a remarkable range of good causes through Funds for Fundraisers, ranging from cancer charities to local scout groups and schools.

We have also seen an increasing number of staff teams using Funds for Fundraisers to bolster their joint fundraising efforts. The Intellectual Property group’s ‘Magnum IP’ team for the Prostate Cancer Charity’s 'Movember' appeal is a good example: through Funds for Fundraisers, the firm contributed a total of £4,000 to supplement the team’s fundraising, propelling them to fifth place in the overall UK team ranking.

In 2007 Funds for Fundraisers was expanded to include future trainees: all graduates with agreed training contracts may participate in the scheme before beginning their training contract. We are very happy to hear from any future trainees who are interested in receiving a Funds for Fundraisers grant to supplement their own charity fundraising.
