J.C. Flowers - Offer for minority stake in Hypo Real Estate Holding AG

Slaughter and May, as an integrated team with Hengeler Mueller advised a group of investors comprising funds advised by J.C. Flowers and Grove International Partners on the UK regulatory aspects of a public tender offer for a 24.9 per cent shareholding in Hypo Real Estate Holding AG.

This is the first time financial investors have acquired a substantial stake in a DAX company and the first public partial offer in Germany.

Completion of the public tender offer was announced on 26 June, 2008.
