Trainee volunteering

Volunteer projects are an important aspect of our work. It is your choice whether to be invloved but we encourage our trainees to take an active role.

Our community affairs programme will offer you a range of volunteer opportunities during and beyond your training contract.

Those of you who want to develop your legal skills while volunteering can become part of our evening advice sessions at Islington Law Centre or Battersea Law Centre. As a law centre volunteer, you will deal with your own clients on a face-to-face basis, helping with their everyday issues. This important work will help develop your case-management skills and provide you with valuable client-facing experience.
